Welcome, bonsai friends!

A little bonsai nursery for Chicagoland.

We’re Jim & Linda, and bonsai is all we do. We grow young trees in a field out in Paw Paw, teach Saturday workshops, and keep the pots, tools and soil you’ll need on hand. Mostly, we just love sharing it.

Out at the nursery

A field full of young trees

About an hour west of the city, we have more than 7,000 pre-bonsai growing in the ground. Walk the rows with us and pick one out. Over the summer you can keep working on a tree out here, with free pointers from us, then harvest it the next spring.
